Well it’s been a month or so, but I’m back up and at it. So go take a look! New PAD pics and June’s 10 on 10!

With the beautiful weather last week we had an unexpected visitor in our backyard during a play date, a wonderful baby squirrel. It wasn’t timid and loved to show off. He just pranced around the kids and strutted his stuff as though their was nothing wrong with a squirrel being 2 inches from a 4 year old. Luckily all the kids kept their distance, except my baby girl (she kind of reminds me of the dentist’s neice on Finding Nemo.) I’m not quite sure what she’ll do next.

I have been slack in my duties, but I am now up to date! After many Easter extravaganzas and lots of traveling we are home and back to “normal”.

Last night I took my oldest daughter and went to Disney On Ice. It was fabulous! All the princesses , except (as I was well informed) Sleeping Beauty, were there. The downside was that cameras with removable lenses were not allowed at the show. So I had to use my little, not the best pixel and horrible zoom, point and shoot. Now I did see and incredible number of people “hiding” cameras with lenses, so I’m assuming if I would have used some ingenuity I may have snuck one in. Although with my luck I would have ruined my daughters very special evening all because I wanted a better shot! So here you go,,,,,,,, the GENIE OF THE LAMP! Often imitated but never duplicated, duplicated, duplicated……..

Well ladies I have the best man around! After letting me go on a 3 day scrapbooking weekend with the girls and watching my girls all by his lonesome, he also built me a light box while I was gone! If that’s not true love I don’t know what is.

So all I can see is white upon white. I should look at this as a blank canvas and a great ability to make and create some wonderful pictures, instead I have snow blindness. All I can see is the white. Well, that and two stir crazy kids!

Well after some cruddy weather and a long week I took Sunday and went to the conservatory. It was just the Giddy-Up I needed to get refueled and start snapping some more pictures.

Since it is the middle of February and it is the middle of back to back snowstorms you would think I would be taking pictures of frozen in time trees and “angel dust” aka snow falling from the sky, but haven’t you seen enough of that already?

Finally I’m current again!

When all else fails in picture taking, take a picture of something you know in life. For me that’s toys!!!

Almost a month down and I can look back and see all the wacky things that have happened this month and look at the pics and say none are “fabulous” but some I really do like and have an affection for. I am definitely altering and tweaking my pics more now than before which I don’t if it’s better than a sooc shot or not. I’m excited to see what February holds, if it looks like pink and red threw up on the month somebody punch me though.
